Uses: raw materials for organic synthesis; preservatives; reagents for determination of free acid in gastric juice; drip analysis of uranium dioxide. Antipyretic analgesics and antirheumatic drugs.
Production method: salicylic acid and sodium bicarbonate were cross-added to distilled water, the temperature was kept at 60 ℃ and kept acidic, and appropriate amount of ethylenediamine tetraacetic acid (EDTA) and insurance powder were added at the same time. The temperature was raised to 85 ℃ and the reaction was carried out for half an hour. The qualified reaction solution was filtered into a fluidized bed and dried at 85 ℃ to obtain salicylic acid.
